Adriana Buenaventura is from Cali, Colombia, and is now a successful Yoga Therapist based in Silicon Valley. With international certifications in Yoga Therapy, Ananda Yoga, and Meditation Instruction, she empowers a diverse clientele to achieve holistic wellness—spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

Her bilingual retreats in both English and Spanish are designed to help individuals overcome anxiety, stress, and other barriers to a fulfilled life. Adriana’s multifaceted approach to well-being extends beyond the yoga mat; as a certified Nutrition Coach and Fitness Professional, she also guides her clients towards optimum health, enabling them to live the life they’ve always dreamed of.

In her leisure time, Adriana finds solace in the great outdoors near where she currently lives, particularly the parks of the San Francisco Bay Area. She views hiking as a form of moving meditation, a way to both energize the body and connect with the Divine. Adriana’s passion for health is so infectious that she not only trains for half marathons herself but also inspires her clients to reach for their own pinnacle of wellness.

Adriana writes: “I have come to realize that there’s a profound sense of wellness and vitality that washes over me when I truly connect with my body as I walk. This sensation seamlessly transforms into a profound feeling of fulfillment that seems to permeate every aspect of my being. I suddenly see everything else in my life in a new way, making me feel so free and inspired.” As Adriana so beautifully puts it, being fully present with each step can have an astonishingly transformative effect.

Her expertise in international travel is extensive, stemming from her upbringing in Colombia, her journeys to diverse cities in India and Mexico, and her residence in the San Francisco Bay area for the past fifteen years.

Adriana is our co-leader for the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage in Spain, as well as the End of the World Pilgrimage Extension. You will enjoy her dynamic energy and leadership!
